What is a central vacuum system?
A central vacuum system is more than a luxury. It is a smart choice for anyone who values a clean, healthy living environment. Whether you are building, remodelling or just want to know what is possible: a central vacuum offers comfort and better air quality in one system.
What are the advantages of a central vacuum system?
With a central vacuum system, there is no more emission of micro-particles, bacteria, allergens and house dust during vacuuming. This is not only a relief for people with allergies, but good for everyone's health.
Other benefits of the system:
- Hygienic and easy vacuuming
- No return dust, so less frequent vacuuming
- Stronger suction power than a traditional hoover
- Vacuuming takes 30% less time on average
- No more lifting or dragging a hoover
- No noise in the living space
But there are also benefits financially:
- A central vacuum system lasts much longer than an ordinary hoover
- Your home or commercial property becomes more valuable with a central vacuum system
- The construction of a new system can be financed through your construction depot
Clean air
A very important aspect in your home is the quality of the air you breathe. Air pollutants such as animal dander, dust mites and moulds are a common cause of allergies and other health problems. A central hoover can significantly reduce exposure to these particles.
How AllVac solves this
AllVac's central vacuum sucks up dust and dirt via a pipe system directly to the unit, which is usually located in the garage, basement or storage room. What you suck up really disappears from your living space.
This is how the system works
The air is discharged via the outlet to the outside, the (ventilated) crawl space or the (ventilated) cavity. Our units can also blow inside the room, as most of our dust bags also have a filtering function. During vacuuming, the dust lands in a 30-litre dust bag, which lasts an average of one year. That is considerably more capacity than a traditional hoover!
Two systems, one choice
A central vacuum system is available in two versions. The choice between the two depends on your situation and how much comfort you want.
With the conventional system, you connect a loose hose to a vacuum socket in the wall. The hose is lightweight and easy to handle. After vacuuming, you store it wherever it suits you. Fast, simple and proven effective.
Want even more comfort? Then the Hide-A-Hose system perhaps something for you. The hose is stored in the pipe system itself, not on a reel as many people think. You pull (infinitely) the hose out of the wall to the desired length. After use, the suction of the unit causes the hose to retract automatically. No loose parts, no hassle, and your house stays tidy.
Can I also have a central vacuum system installed?
In new builds or major renovations, a central vacuum system can always be incorporated. But it is also possible in almost all cases in an existing home. The conventional system is easy to fit, even in older homes.
The Hide-A-Hose system requires a little more preparation and is preferably built in during construction or a major renovation. Nevertheless, we are convinced that a solution can always be found. Based on a floor plan, or during a home visit, we will determine together how best to fit the system.
